Sunday afternoon I decided we needed to go to Fort Worth to see The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction, where I had sent a few pieces which somehow became part of their collection.
As you can see, they're currently holding a White on White Exhibition. The above was to be my contribution.
But we couldn't find a place to print it. And when we arrived at the address listed we were in a residential neighborhood in the southwest of Fort Worth, in front of a house with an old white van in the driveway.
I don't know what that means. If we got lost or if I got the wrong address or if Cecil Touchon is a fraud, collecting pieces from suckers like me and making his fortune exporting them as masterworks to countries that haven't yet experienced the internet. I don't know. But I think I'd feel the same either way.
What would you do?
