She said I should write you a letter
But I thought that I could do better
So I bought me a laser
And a work coat called Blazer
But these poems still come out pure cheddar.

So the pig and I walked into town
To see how our homies get down—
A lot of them just
Exchange passion for lust
& then stand there all giggles and frown.
13.
But the kids in black across the street
Are not wack—they're neat!
They got stomp boots & sweet guitars
& Monday nights they go to bars
& regurge what they drank on the concrete.

We were after somebody who'd rawk us
So we swung by a kirk o' th' Baccus
But there they just stared
While the TV box glared:
Kiss-kiss. Let's do war. Diplodocus.
15.
These lands that some would call hinter:
The hintest of minty or minter—
Put some in your mouth
Before you head south
& leave me alone for the winter.
